Mimis Local DTFHub Monitor · Updated October 28, 2026
Access and use
The application requests Google's gmail.readonly permission. This technically permits reading the authorized mailbox. The current reader restricts its searches to messages matching “dtfhub” outside Spam and Trash, then reads matching message identifiers, dates, sender and subject headers, and body text to create supplier-pricing review notes. It does not download attachments or load remote email images.
Processing and storage
Matching email body text is processed by Ollama on the owner's Windows computer through a local loopback connection. The reader does not send email content to OpenAI or another cloud AI service. It communicates with Google to authorize access, refresh authorization and retrieve messages.
Message identifiers, dates, senders, subjects, generated notes and review flags are retained in a local SQLite database and HTML report. The reader does not deliberately save raw email bodies. Authorization tokens are stored in Windows Credential Manager. Desktop client configuration and reports are stored in a restricted local application folder. Operating-system backups, user-created copies and other software are outside the reader's control.
Sharing and retention
The application does not sell email data, use it for advertising, or train models on it. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
Records remain locally until the owner deletes them. The owner can revoke access in Google Account third-party connections and disable the Windows scheduled task. Revoking access stops future retrieval but does not erase previous reports. Local reports and the review database can be deleted separately from the application's private folder; saved authorization can be removed from Windows Credential Manager.
